UNDER BANK TIE-UP SCHEMES

Subsidy grants from State Government
Under Bank Tie-up Scheme the corporation arranges financial assistances for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes categories beneficiaries up to the project cost of Rs. One lac and provides subsidy to the extent of 50% of the unit cost subject to a maximum of Rs. 10,000/= ( per beneficiary) for SC & ST beneficiaries and 33.33% subject to maximum of Rs, 3000/- in case of OBC beneficiaries. Funds for releasing subsidy component are being provided by Central Government through the State Government under Special Central Assistance (SCA) to Special Component Plan (SCP) & Tribal Sub-Plan (TSP) for SCs & STs. However for BCs catogory it is the state government which releases the funds from its plan every year. The bank loan is to be repaid by the beneficiary in easy installments over a period of time varying from three years to six years (depending upon the scheme and quantum of loan).
UNDER DIRECT FINANCING SCHEMES
The Direct Financing Schemes are being implemented by the corporation in collaboration with National level Corporations.
The National level Corporations provide Loans assistance to the Corporation to the tune of 85-90% of the project cost and 5-10% is to be contributed by the J&K SCs, STs and BCs Development Corporation Limited and 5% is to be the beneficiary.
The National level Corporations provides financing assistance (loans) as per the approved annual plan of the corporation backed by guarantee of State government.

Corporation ltd; for the uplitment/ development of Safai Karamcharis / Scavengers and their Dependants those who are unemployed, in the State. There is no income bar fixed by the National Corporation for the beneficiaries to avail the schemes of the National corporation. However, the preference shall be given to those who are living below double the poverty line. The main areas which are being funded by the National Corporation through this corporation are:

This National level corporation is providing funds ( loans) to the JKSCSTBC Dev. Corporation ltd;
for the uplitment/ development of Disabled persons (only male member).The person who is permanent resident of J&K State with 40% or more disability, between the age group 18 to 55 years, unemployed and having annual family income below Rs.80000/= for rural areas and Rs. One lac for Urban areas, in the State and not a defaulter of any financial institution is eligible for grant of loan under NHDFC’s assisted schemes.

FINANCING AREAS/ SECTORS
The purpose of loans which are being advanced by various banks to the beneficiaries, sponsored by this corporation and the loans being channelized by the aforementioned Apex Level Corporations through this corporation is to provide Financial Assistance to the weaker sections of the target groups for starting or augmenting income generating units/ activities to sustain their livelihood. The activities which are being taken up for financing are mainly under the following broad sectors:
